Che Meyer Does Table Tennis Proud
The South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) has awarded a prestigious bursary of R18 000 to Che Mikhail Meyer of WPTT. He was part of the 198 applicants of which only 5 were seen as worthy of the bursary.
The bursary is an initiative to empower youngsters to better themselves to becoming future champions and to become better contributors to society at large.
In short, Che is a matriculant and has been a keen participant in the sport of table tennis for many years. In that field, Che has represented his region, his province and South Africa on numerous occasions. His ambition is to participate at the Olympics and to pursue further studies in Sport, Recreation and Exercise Science. An ambition that will culminate in him obtaining an University Degree in said field of study.
The South African Table Tennis Board congratulates him on his achievements and wishes him all the best for his future endeavours.
